Chemistry can be challenging—but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. My goal is to help students not only understand the material, but develop the confidence to approach unfamiliar problems. 

I’m a Chemistry educator with over 13 years of classroom experience, teaching in both New Jersey public schools and high-performing international schools in Europe. I’ve also had the privilege of teaching Chemistry to high-achieving gifted students in grades 5–10 through the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth summer programs for six summers.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, a Master’s in Teaching, and a Master’s in Education Leadership.

As an experienced classroom teacher, I understand not only the chemistry itself, but also the common places where students get stuck—and how to explain a difficult concept in a way that finally makes it click.

My students have told me that my enthusiasm and personality make Chemistry slightly more interesting, which I consider one of the best compliments I could receive.
